London Spring Seminar – we have a series of open seminars planned for the Capital through 2004. To keep track of news on these seminars please click on the 'News' link on the left hand side.

Bespoke Training – as the training of Hapkido is not widespread but attracts a great deal of interest from across the country, we provide a seminar service. In audition to any seminars already being planned, we are able to set up training at suitable venues on request. For more information about this please contact us on 01362 667070 or email your enquiry.

Specialist Training – we also provide a range of specialist training to groups including private organisations, commercial bodies, government departments and groups. Advanced combat training is available through our Senior Coach Nial Adams, to suitable groups. For more information about this please contact us on 01362 667070 or email your enquiry.

Coach Development Programme (CDP)

In order to continue the expansion of our organisation and maintain the highest standards, for which we are well recognised, we have structured a programme to train coaches.

IMPORTANT - Firstly it must be pointed out that a core element of our standards is the minimum requirements for those attaining Dan Grades. We will not issue a Black Belt to anyone who has less that three years of proper training in our style. Neither will we recognise anyone who purports to hold a Dan Grade in Hapkido unless that they can provide evidence of training with a credible body for a minimum of three years per Dan Grade. We are aware, and hold a list, of individuals in the UK and around the world who claim Hapkido grades but have clearly inadequate training – essentially their grades are bogus.

Our CDP is set up to assist with the establishment of new training branches around the UK. We receive a great number of enquires from those with existing martial arts experience who want to learn Hapkido. In some cases these people feel the style they have studied has little more to teach them or has become impractical for their needs.

Through the CDP we structure a personalised training programme, which allows a suitable individual to commence learning the basics of our system. Then at a point under our supervision we help then to start teaching these basics in small, private groups. Over the life of their personal CDP we develop the individual to a point where they are able to attain their 1st Dan Black Belt and open a fully authorised and licensed branch of International Hapkido.

This programme is a great investment in time and energy on our part and we only accept suitable candidates. This is not an ‘advanced learning programme’ or ‘get your black belt in six months’ affair. The costs for the CDP vary depending upon circumstances and it should be noted that we are not selling this as a business opportunity. If you would like to discuss you own personal circumstances and apply to join our CDP please contact Nial Adams, Senior Coach for more information.
