LONDON CLASS - GREAT START!- 15th
June 2004
We are delighted to report that the new Hapkido class
recently opened at the Tokei Dojo has got off to a flying
start, and looks set to grow fast.
Despite good weather and the obvious draw (for some!)
of Euro 2004, the regular Sunday classes have been well
attended.
Open to all students wishing to make a focused study of
Authentic Hapkido, we have already been attracting a mixture
of students; some with strong backgrounds in other martial
arts, as well as total beginners. We're also very pleased
to welcome back some Hapkido students from our previous
classes in London after several years.
Next Seminar Session -
Please Note - the next session, Sunday 20th, will be a
Seminar Session taken by Nial Adams. Starting at 3pm and
running 'till 6pm, this will cover syllabus training as
well as a variety of additional material. Cost £15
for the three hours. Open to new students and beginners.

LONDON CLASS UPDATE - 26th May 2004
We're very pleased to let you know the first Induction Session
for our new Hapkido class at the Tokei Dojo was a great
success. Thanks to those who attended and supported the
event - we look forward to welcoming you to the next session.
And thanks also to the Black Belt Coaches that attended
to provide their assistance.
Held on Sunday 23rd we had a strong turnout (on what turned
out to be a glorious spring/summers day(?)). With a lot
of interest in the regular sessions to follow.
IMPORTANT
- as next Sunday falls on the Bank Holiday weekend, and
we recognise a lot of people will want to be out of the
capital on a long weekend, we have decided not to run a
session on the 30th - but start with the first class session
on the 6th June. This will be taken by John and run from
4pm-6pm, and cost £10.
STOP PRESS - as you will know we
are planning to run several other regular sessions both
at another venue (possibily St. Johns Wood) and evening
classes - however we are in discussions with the committee
of the Tokei Dojo who have suggested they are interested
in providing an evening session there, as well as the Sunday.
Most of all I must stress that we are only able to offer
places to a limited number of students - we are limited
by space but also prefer to keep class sizes down to ensure
you get a very high standard of training and tuition. If
you want to join our classes please register your interest
ASAP - call Nial on 01362 667070 or simply reply to this
email.
For those who missed the Induction Session but want to start
soon, there is no need to wait for the next one - please
just register with us and come the the next available class.

NEWS - NEW LONDON CLASS OPENS -
10th May 2004
Following
on from the success of our two London seminars and a large
number of enquiries after recent advertising, we are very
pleased to announce the opening of a regular class in London.
The
first of a regular Sunday session will be held on:

23rd May - at the Tokei Dojo (SE1) London

This
Induction Class will run from 3pm - 6pm and is open to all
beginners to Hapkido, experienced martial artists, or not.
Taken by Master Nial Adams with support from other senior
instructors the lesson will cost just £15.
Following
this there will then be a regular Sunday session each week
for 2 hours from 4-6pm. We anticipate training fees to be
the same rate £10 per class (i.e. £5 per hour).
SPACE
WILL BE LIMITED - to ensure you are able
to reserve a place please contact us to confirm your interest
prior to the class. We will not be taking advanced payment
(please pay on the day) - but we must be able to confirm
numbers in advance.
We
are also in the process of confirming other venues for weekday
evening classes - likely to be in the St. John's Wood area.
